Is This A Coincidence?


This story is a true story.

About 1,500 years ago, an egyptian princess passed away. Her body was thus preserved and wrapped into a mummy and laid to rest in her tomb.

In 1890, four rich Englishman bought the rights to the mummy and have it delivered to England. The four men bet on which one will get the majority ownership of the princess. The man that won was so happy and enthuastic afterward. So soon after, he went into the dessert for a walk, and he was never seen of again. A second of the four men all of the sudden, died. A third had his life savings lost after his bank failed, restricting him to sell matches on the streets of London for the rest of his life. The fourth man gotten really sick, and died eventually.

The ownership of the mummy went into the hands of a museum in London. But when the mummy was being loaded off the vehicle, the vehicle all of the sudden went into reverse, killing three passer-bys. The mummy was then put on displays inside the museum. One museum worker gotten sick and all of the sudden, died. Three members of a supervisor's family got into a terrible car accident, all went into serious condition. A customer once waved a handkerchief in front of the mumy. The customer's son died soon from measles. The mummy was then sent to the museum basement. A nightwatchman died suddenly. Another nightwatchman one night heard hammering and banging from the mummy. Another nightwatchman, after hearing the misfortunes flying around, was smart; he quit.

As the bad luck continues to radiate from the museum, word of mouth begun to enter the general public. London and England newspapers were all over about the evils coming from the mummy. Then a journalist took a picture of the mummy in the museum. Soon after, he went into his bedroom and shot himself to death. The museum then decided to sell the mummy to a London entreprenuer.

In the next few years, the entreprenuer become increasingly unlucky. During then, he put the mummy into the attic of his house. Sometimes, he heard strange noises in his house and attic. His wife left him with his children. Then one day, he invited a spirit-ridder to go to his house and ask why he is having so many problems and bad luck. The spirit-ridder knew that it was the mummy do the evil tactics. The entreprenuer ask the spirit-ridder can you get rid of the spirit? The spirit-ridder said the mummy was so evil, no one can do that. The best thing to do was to get rid of the mummy. But no one or no museum will be willing to buy the mummy.

However, a New York City man decided to buy the mummy for a handsome price. On a beautiful April 10th day, the mummy was loaded for its journey to the United States. However, on the way, the mummy joined nearly 1,500 other people and an emourmous wreck at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean where they will forever rest in peace. The name of that ship was the:
